After completing her D.M.A. in 2018, Heidi went on a whirlwind ride trying to find her place within the music community. At first, when applying to academia jobs, she was unsuccessful. Fortunately, Heidi was able to (finally!) obtain a full-time job in Shanghai, China; however, due to the pandemic, the job was cancelled.
